From your base at the Waterfront Hotel in the picturesque and historical town of Portpatrick you'll discover coastal, forest, hill and mountain walks and cycling, castles, estates and stunning gardens, golf, fishing and so much all within a short radius of the hotel.
Porpatrick itself is a beautiful, picturesque, village that sits on the harbour side. It has a range of restaurants, cafes and shops. There is a lovely small beach and promenade and is a great base for many walks along the spectacular coastline .
You are within a short distance to two superb golf courses at Portpatrick Dunksey Golf Club and Stranraer Creachmore Golf Club.
There are six stunning gardens around us from Dunskey to Glenwhan and Castle Kennedy to Port Logan.
Meals served seven days a week 12pm - 9pm
We have a popular Terrace area, which is the perfect place to ‘people watch’ and take in the stunning views of the harbour across the Irish Sea, whilst enjoying some delicious food.
The hotel has twins ,small doubles and sea view double rooms including and a family room, all of which are en suite with a small shower room and Tv. All of our rooms have double or twin beds, with TVs, tea and coffee, complimentary toiletries, fresh towels and a hairdryer. Six of our rooms are located in our annex with garden areas, and also direct access to the main street.
Double rooms at the Waterfront have a double bed, TV, tea and coffee, toiletries, and hairdryer. Small private bathroom.
Sea view double rooms have one extra-large double bed, TV, tea and coffee, toiletries, and hairdryer. Small private bathroom.
The family room is in the annex, with access to the street and gardens, with a large double bed plus one single bed, TV, tea and coffee, toiletries with a private ensuite bathroom.
